The SVOM mission is a Franco-Chinese mission dedicated to the study of the most distant explosions of stars, gamma-ray bursts. It was launched on 22 June 2024 from the Xichang launch base.

Since 27 June 2024, SVOM has detected 129 gamma-ray bursts, including 110 by the GRM instrument and 45 by the ECLAIRs instrument.
